- Tea ceremony process
- Timing for the return journey
Above is a guideline of what you should focus on when it comes to planning your wedding day.
Now let’s get into the details in each category.
Wedding Makeup Artist
On the actual day, the wedding bride should make sure that the makeup artist will arrive on time. Usually makeup artist will take around 2 hours to finish the makeup process. So when you are planning your wedding schedule, make sure you give a head start on the reporting time schedule. Usually, the makeup artist will arrive at 5am to start the makeup process. Try to enjoy the process with your makeup artist. Make friends with each other. It will loosen out the stress that you had.
Bridesmaid
Usually bridesmaids will arrive one hour after your makeup artist. If your makeup artist reached at 5am, your bridesmaids should arrive at around 6am. The items for the gate crashing should be prepared beforehand to make sure the preparation work is smooth for the Bridesmaids. The preparation area should be well-lit for wedding photographers to capture a well framed shot. Areas like the living room that is spacious could be a good location.

Veiling
Now it’s time for the veiling of our lovely wedding bride. During this process, we would recommend you to keep a buffer of around 15mins-20mins. The wedding photographer would usually take sometime to generate the mood and take some photos with their parents. It’s an intimate session, so we would advice the bridesmaids or time keeper not to rush the entire process.
Wedding Groom
The ideal timing for the wedding groom to arrive would be after the veiling. Wedding Photographers would have to take some photos of the groom coming out of the bridal car. Some wedding photos with the groomsmen will be done during this period as well. We recommend around 15mins for this section.
Gate Crashing
Now the fun part starts! The bridesmaids will start the gate crashing activity. Usually the gate crash will take about 30 – 40mins. To make the entire process smooth, we recommend bridesmaids to have a script or activity flow chart ready.
Fetching of wedding bride
This portion is also crucial for Wedding photographers. We would recommend around 15mins. The groom will enter the room to unveil the bride. Photographers might request for a few more angles during these moment. Group shots with the wedding entourage will be done here as well.
Traveling Time
Most couple did not take into consideration of the time to travel from one location to the next when it comes to wedding planning. We would recommend couple to do a trial run one week before the wedding day. It will help to plan the time taken to reach each destination. Usually the traveling time would be an estimate of 30mins for each journey.
Tea Ceremony
We recommend around 30 – 40mins for the tea ceremony process. To make the entire ceremony smooth, we recommend the wedding couple to come out with a list order for the relatives to kick start the tea ceremony. The bridesmaids can assist in the refilling of the tea & crowd controlling as well.
